The 18th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Thursday 21st April 1831 over the Ditch Mile, was Galantine (10/1), a bay filly by Reveller out of Snowdrop, owned by Sir Mark Wood. A field of 8 runners contested the race which was worth £1650 (Equivalent to £173,300 in 2017)
